Thandiani or Thandyani – A beautiful Hilly Area located in Pakistan. Thandiani literal meaning is “Cold”. It is located at about 2700 meters above sea level. The Thandyani Hillscan be reached through Abbotabad District. It is around about 1 hour and 30 minutes on a good decent road. Thandiani is considered by an excellent weather and lush greenery especially in the summer months. This hilly place is surrounded by Pine Forests. It offers wide range of views and sceneries while travelling to Thandiani from Abbotabad. At one side of the road it offers beautiful views of Abbotabad city. At other side you may have lovely scenic views and breathtaking scenery of hill stations of Pakistan. There is also a Pakistan Television Booster at the top and a Pak Air-Force Radar. From the top, you can have stunning views of all the Galliat Region, Hazara Region, Swat Forests, Chitral, Abbotabad, and Kashmir. You may find greenery everywhere.  Attabad Lake which is also commonly known as Gojal Lake is an amazingly beautiful lake in Gojal Valley. This lake was formed as a result of a landslide. Initially, it presented a lot of difficulty to the locals and even resulted in the loss of lives of many people as well as the displacement of many locals. However, with time, it has become a major tourist attraction in the Northern Areas of Pakistan. In fact, today, it stands as one of the most scenic lakes in the world.

Attabad Lake was created in January 2010 as a result of a landslide.
